Pregnancy Testing

Experiencing pregnancy symptoms such as a missed period doesn't always mean you're pregnant. Call to schedule an appointment or stop by to receive a pregnancy test at no cost to you. We do not perform blood pregnancy tests.

1st Choice Pregnancy Resource Center will provide factual information regarding abortion procedures and risks, as well as other options for your pregnancy. 1st Choice wants you to be able to make informed decisions.

This organization provides peer support and education regarding fetal development, prenatal care, childbirth, breastfeeding, relationships, and more. We assist with material and other suport through community resources. 1st choice provides services to the community through sexual risk avoidance education and other means.

Options Information

Many women (and men) experience feelings of depression, relationship difficulties, drug/ alcohol abuse, or guilt from a previous abortion. At 1st Choice you can talk to someone about your experience and symptoms to receive the assistance you need.

We provide confirmation of pregnancy through ultrasound. Medical professionals recommend that a woman have an ultrasound to help determine fetal age and other important information. Ultrasound availability is limited and will be scheduled at the discretion of 1st Choice.

Men

Fathers are celebrated at 1st Choice Pregnancy Resources of Pamlico through our men's programs and services. We offer parent education and men's groups, including abortion recovery.
